Setting up a kessler for dummies?

Recommended Posts

This is not the game for you. Yet.

Since parts colliding will annihilate each other, any attempts at Kesslering in KSP are self-defeating.

You might, however, put a vessel with a lot of propelled decouplers (SRBs, Missiles, Railgun Projectiles) into orbit, then shoot those in all directions. Eventually, your orbit will fill up with little things going fast, and you might even have a collision one day.

I have not heard of such a thing, and naming it after a popular topic such as Kessler Syndrome is just foul. Nasty. Villainous. Vile. Despicable. Horrendous...!

You\'re just slightly mad that you didn\'t know what he was saying.

I am genuinely shocked and appaled on account of the recklessly deceiving naming conventions - or lack thereof - out there!

Kessler is actually named quite aptly, if you read the first scenario that is presented on the mod page. Over time on a server, the amount of debris and ships might actually replicate Kessler Syndrome, if your computer doesn\'t die trying to render all of them beforehand. Either way, the naming convention is sound, and I quite doubt you are 'genuinely shocked and appalled' on this account. Rather, I believe you simply did not know what he was talking about, which is, in my opinion, a much better explanation than being shocked at nomenclature.

Lies! Such a thing is not even possible! Even our most sophisticated steam-powered difference engines and data transfer systems - be they based on pigeons or children - are incapable of such computational feats!
