PLEASE fix the kerbal on Eva aero dynamics when in a cargo bay.

Recommended Posts

When Val was in the cargo bay of a plane and the plane was moving at 0.5 m/s and val couldn't walk toward the cockpit. I just want a simple code that would fix that. Tha wasn't even parking lot speeds the plane moved at. Post your thoughts devs and people

The Kerbals in general need massive work. The rag doll stuff has to go. It gets ridiculous fast. Or at least as a kerbal levels up make it so they don't fall as easily. Seriously it's funny the first few times, but it gets old quick.

And yes Kerbals should be able to stand on slowly moving platforms without bugging out. Honestly imo the kerbals themselves are one of the most underappreciated asset in the game. They got females and a new suit... That's it.

Given a 747 travels at 250m/s (according to google) and you can walk around the cabin I don't see why Kerbals can't walk around closed cargo bays if there is enough gravity to cause friction.

They should be able to wing walk if flying slow enough.

Given the new wheel system handles friction could it be adapted to give kerbal feet friction as well?

I don't think it's aero-related, I think it's poor friction.

This is the problem right here. AFAIK there is 0 friction. I've had Kerbals slide off of craft staying in exactly the same relative position to the ground when the craft rolls out from under them.

KSP needs Part/Part Friction. Discovered that it didn't exist when trying to drive a rover up a ramp for recovery. Very had indeed. I ended up knocking my lander over by trying to drive fast enough for the rover to make it up the ramp
