Elcano Circumnavigation: Tylo Or Bust!

Hello forum users! My name is SpaceplaneAddict! Recently, I came across the Elcano Challenge, which is to circumnavigate a planet/moon by land. So, wanting to be unique, I chose Tylo. Not like I have to return from it or anything.

Anyways, here's the rover, Launcher is being prepped.

Yes, the rover is designed to tip on it's side in-case of rollover. Not too-too helpful in Tylo gravity, but helps somewhat.

And I couldn't get pics of the launch/Jool transfer. So pics start from me burning for sub-prbit on Tylo.

Found a way to log distance. I've glitched the F3 menu so now it only showing 18 metres. From there, I can prove distance with various screenshots. Hopefully it's valid.

Sorry for this giant necro.... but this is still going to happen. My old-save.... well the less said, the better. I've designed a new buggy, and am now preparing a BigS rocket. And to those who were expecting more from this...

I was a fool, I thought I could balance so much at once. At the time, this and the Jool-5 came up, and I thought that I could do moar at once.

Sorry, I'll try harder this time, for now, this is my only long term challenge...

I can't rocket.... Currently I am having trouble designing a rocket stable and powerful enough to land at Tylo without using the fuel onboard the racer

Wow love the look of the new rover.. Tylo is a big moon, that is gonna be one long drive, at least the gravity will hold you down more then most

I bet I might pull 20m/s in the slightly lower gravity. Also, some of the friendly users on the Elcano thread reminded me about orbital construction, so now I actually have a chance to launch this to Tylo.

The launch was jittery... less said the better. Nontheless, Val made orbit, and posed for the cam. Pics of launch aren't shown, but can be proved later down the line if needed.

Not really, as you can see, the rover will be landing on the tanks. Also, building an efficient nuclear tug is hard, but I've managed to come up with one.

I was going to say some bad things about your super-flat launch trajectory, but then I watched you dock in the dark on your first try, so I was left speechless.

Hmm, depends. The transfer burn, course corrections, and tylo orbit burn, will most likely videoed. The landing will probably be recorded.

The driving, depends. Maybe on boring days, I'll imgur. On big events, I'll probs record.

Or maybe, I'll just show the landing. By the way, TWR is horrible, a total of 0.11. I'll manage, but seriously, this stuff is too boring.
