Remove leftovers from UltraSurf

Hello much more PC savvy than me crowd!

I think I created an ID10T situation ...

I bought GTA 5 from humble bundle, they give you a Rockstar key instead of a Steam one in this case.

While Steam users enjoy problem free and fast downloads, I later learned (and experienced) that Rockstar users are severely limited and it would have taken me about six days (complete 6 x 24h + something) to download the game. While searching the web for a solution and finding many players complaining about the same problem, I came across a post that claimed UltraSurf made it that he could use his full bandwidth again.

Not seeing any apparent warnings in the thread and its wikipedia entry only menationing that the software might not be as good at what it originally is supposed to be used for (circumventing internet censorship and enabling anonymous internet usage), I downloaded the program and was happy the game downloaded as fast as my connection would allow.

Today I got curious about the alleged inability of the program to provide what it is advertised at and found a report from someone associated with the TOR project saying that UltraSurf would tag the users computer and would remain that way even after stopping to use the software.

Now, am I eternally tagged or is there a way to wash myself (and my PC) clean of this venture?

(And how the kerb else do I speed up the RockStar downloader?!)

Reset the OS maybe? Back your important things up, like your KSP directories.
