Science from all the biomes on one body

So, I was thinking about what would be involved in building a single craft that would drop landers to all the biomes on one body, getting a full set of science from each biome. I kinda like the idea of a science-cluster-bomb ship.

  1. It could be done fairly easily I think by radioing the results back from probes. That might possibly be a little too easy.
  2. Or I could put a Kerbal down in each location for their extra science and radio the results back. Kinda making a mini base in each biome. That might be a little more challenging.
  3. Or I could put a craft with a Kerbal and a full science set down in each biome, each of which could make it's ways back to Kerbin for full science recovery. That could be tricky, depending on the body.

Some likely bodies for a return trip are:

  1. the Mun - 15 biomes @ ~1750dV = 26,250dV. That's quite a lot.
  2. Minmus - 9 biomes @ ~860dV = 7,740dV. Seems do-able.
  3. Duna - 5 biomes @~2830dV = 14,150dV. Maybe.

That's too many biomes on the Mun. I'm gonna get bored with doing that.

Duna - A possibility.

Minmus - Could be a good place to practice before trying Duna.

Let me have a play making a Duna lander and return craft and see how massive 5 of those would be...

Update

Or, how about taking along a crew of 5 to Duna. Drop them to the surface in small landers with a science set. Then get them back to orbit, transfer back to a mothership along with their science. Then bring the 5 Kerbals home in the mothership?...

That would make it a bit like the Jool-5 challenge on level 3, except all on one planet.
