External command seat

Hello im not sure i have placed this thread where it belongs so if moderator can move it to a better location if needed thanks.

Now to the topic, i have encountered a problem while piloting one of my rover on minmus and i had a little bit of an accident. My rover flipped over and my kerbal hit the head in the ground and was ejected from the external command seat. He made it alright tho but is now unable too move. I cannot control the kerbal and move back too the rover or anything else for that matter. I can still command the rover but when i switch too the kerbal i am unable too do anything. also wwhen i right click the kerbal i cannot place a flag or take surface samples but i can see his jetpack fuel.

Alright i hope this covers what i need help with, im using everything vanilla aswell.
