It was a one seated, American Fighter during world war two in which would dominate its opponents with its new supercharger reaching around 400 miles per hour on a single propeller!

Anyway's I've made the craft in ksp and yes it does come with an animated propeller than rotates as you push air into it (make sense) like an autogyro.

So lets take a look at whats in the box but here at -------- we say what box? (Inside joke for those who know me IRL)

Comes with landing flaps (AKA Combat flaps)

Action Group should be 1

Propeller has a tendency to get jammed when turning at 6G's but should not effect flight but rather just the cool spinning propeller :(

But hey it comes with 1 bomb (yes stock bomb) but no real way of shooting so if you like what you see and wish to "git gud" flying WWII planes than this is the plane for you

*British are still better* <--- Patriotism

Very nice plane! But one thing- why the difference between the render and the pictures?

+Rep!

What do you mean about the difference between the render and the pictures? DID I DO SOMETHING WRONG *Looks around frantically* :D

Edit:

If you mean the bearings, they dont get imported in blender *some bug* so thats missing but nothing else... I HOPE :sticktongue:

You know, that's a nice render. If you have the time, would you be willing to make one for my Fokker triplane? I have no skill in arts such as this.

Oh yeah, it's a neat plane too, I'd say your wings need some work, they look too square, and the cockpit looks strange. The P-51 was known for its bubble canopy, so if you lowered that tailpiece a little to expose the back of the cockpit, it might look better.

I've thought about doing that lowertail piece. In regards to the wings, I suck at angling it off towards the tips so I just decided to leave it as is. KSP really needs to make wings a lot more flexible in regards to design. Lastly, I'd love to render your craft, PM me any extra information such as setting, if you want it to be in a dogfight etc. :D

Very nice with the propeller! But a turboshaft? Some definitions :-)

A supercharger is a compressor, bolted on and mechanically driven by a piston engine.

A turbosupercharger (turbocharger) is using the piston engine exhaust pressure to drive a turbine, which is connected to a compressor.

A turbo-compound is using the piston engine exhaust kinetic energy to drive a turbine which is connected to the crankshaft.

A turboshaft is basically a jet engine using it's energy to drive a shaft/axle/PTO.

Never said I was a plane expert :D more into tanks lol

Kinda just snipped snipped some stuff to get copy paste. :)

The cries for better wings have been heard and expected so I took the time today to attempt to fix them. Heres what I've came up with :)

After doing this though the flaps are inverted they move up so is there anyway to stop that? Move it in front of CoM?

Edit: ooh yea and the bubble cockpit brb :D
