The Kerbal Transporter

bj9ugh.png

The Kerbal Transporter is a way to transport many kerbals at once, as the name implies.

It has a capacity of 24 kerbals, including the crew. Four (the crew) are carried in the cockpit, sixteen in the passenger module, and eight in the hitchhiker storage containers, which are located in the cargo bay. It also has one action group assigned to it, which is action group 1.

Hey PineCone.

Welcome to the Forums. :)

Your craft looks pretty good. Well done. How long have you been playing KSP?

Would you mind if I gave you a few suggestions that might improve it? Just some friendly suggestions :)

What you could do with those hitchhikers is clip them to the Mk3 Crew compartment so that just the hatch is showing on the belly of the rover. You can fit 2 hitchhikers onto one mk3 part. Then you just need to add a nose cone or something to round the edges of the hitchhikers. You can then add another Mk3 crew compartment with hitchhikers underneath to double your overall capacity. With the batteries, just clip them again into one of the mk3 parts, along with the RTGs.

You are not obliged to use these ideas at all, only if you want to. :)

Happy Flying

A) Its just kinda a big rover, nicely done, but i could slap it together in 5 minutes myself

B) WHY would you bother to put those hitchhikers in there? the mk3 crew cabin has 4 times more capacity!

If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. This is a safe, fun and encouraging community, one of the best out there. People don't like to read these kind of things, especially when it judges their own designs and creations. Please don't put others down. It's not a good look either...
