Very, very cool! On a side note, it's no wonder the Copernicus program was canceled -- so many launches with so many points of failure.

Constellation was the program that was cancelled, and unrelated to the Copernicus spacecraft, which is a hypothetical design. The Copernicus PROJECT is alive and well, and is a NASA software used for trajectory visualization and optimization.

Lofting the Copernicus spacecraft would have a lot of potential points of failure, but it's also not likely in the near term. More on topic, though, this mod is pretty awesome and I look forward to seeing what designs get added. It'd be lovely to see some of the VASIMR and HOPE designs realized in KSP. Discovery II, Copernicus, and NAUTILUS-X are super cool, though.
