Send the exact same probe design into orbit around EVERY body in the Kerbol system. It must have:

The super-advanced orbital scanner

A Communotron 88-88

Two Gigantor XL Solar Arrays

These probes will scan every body in the Kerbol system for valuable resources. Obviously, you don't scan Jool and Kerbol, but put probes into a "scanning" orbit anyway.
