Runways

And just for the sake of completeness, the big white rectangles are targets for landing, and the thin strips tell you how wide it is. Real runways ( well, airport ones ) are a bit more complicated, but *how* much more complicated you don't find out until you start building one yourself :P

( yes I'm aware it doesn't have alignment numbers ). Also that is a UK runway before any pilots chime in.
