No Parts and No Loading

I have no mods installed in KSP, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled it 3 times. For some reason, every time I go into the SPH, there are no parts whatsoever. I can load a ship, but if I load one after another, they clip on top of each other. I can launch things that I load.

However, right after I uninstall it and reinstall it, I have the parts again! Buuuut when I try to launch a ship, all of the buttons gray out, and I can't move the camera. It doesn't freeze, there are Kerbals in the background moving around.

I have done everything I could find, but nothing works. I've installed it and uninstalled it, I've verified the game cache, and I've moved it to a different folder. Please help.

It's Steam Windows 8.1, and my computer has an AMD A8-6500 APU, 8 GB of RAM, and 64-bit OS. It affects all of my saves. I dunno where the logs would be.

Well the thread I linked does explain where to find the logs.

As a wild guess I'd say you are using saves from a modded install, and module manager has broken them, the TechTree line in the persistent.sfs file needs to be changed to this:

TechTreeUrl = GameData/Squad/Resources/TechTree.cfg

If that doesn't fix it then I really do need your logs and save file.
