KER problem - KER not available after undocking

Hello,

I am using the KER plugin to get delta v etc.

Sometimes, when I perform undocking, KER becomes unavailable for the undocked part. The KER button becomes black and unresponsive, the KER window disappears.

If I switch to the other spacecraft, KER becomes available again. And disappears again if I switch back to the spacecraft that has the problem.

Is this a known problem, and is there any way to solve it apart from saving and restoring the game?

You need the part, the actual KER circuit board looking piece attached to each vehicle you want to use it on.

By default you need either an Engineer Kerbal or one of the KER computers to use KER in flight. You can change this in KER's settings though, if you just want it all the time.

Yup...You can modify the KER .cfg.... Or, there was an older .cfg you could install, that adds MechJeb & KER to All command parts...

Or, you can install the .cfg from Malah's StockPlugins (just delete the .cfgs you DONT want, after extraction (keep the KER one, of course):
