So, I just got KSP and I'm gonna post how I am learning how to play.

Part 1: PLANES!

So, I found myself a stock plane out on the Runway, seeing as this was my first time flying damn near anything (I have tried the demo, never got in orbit.) I learn from Youtubers and the wiki alike. I used an ordinary stock aircraft and got liftoff. Hell yes! I kept flying and then something caught my eye. To my right, I saw an island. The closer I got, I found that there was a runway! I flew in for a landing. I knew I was probably gonna explode, and IF I learned anything from Danny2462, if I EVA at the right time, lil' ol' Jebediah would live! No need to EVA, though, I only lost ONE control surface upon landing! :cool: First landing, and I was proud of it.

Welcome to KDP, beside the trial version!

Surelly, there is a LOT of differences.

First, you learned there it is the Island Runway , where you can land with a plane... :D

Think about when you'll arrive at Jool... :P

Surelly, there is a LOT of differences.

First, you learned there it is the Island Runway , where you can land with a plane... :D

Think about when you'll arrive at Jool... :P

Jool? That gas giant with about 3 moons? Pfft. I will start small. Transcontinental rocket flight on Kerbin, then land on the Mun. Then Minmus. Then maybe Duna. THEN I will consider Jool. :P

Part 1.5 (DEMO VERSION): Continental flight. (SHORT)

I dedcided to play the demo a bit. :P I tried out a design, that I named the Bullet. I aimed it north, and I burned some fuel. I ran out, but landed at a nice place in the mountains. Planted a flag.

Note:The next part will be quite long, presumably.

So, after pickin up good ol' Jeb. I started on a transcontinental flight. I failed miserably.

About time to attempt an orbit, I guess.

I'm gonna use the old Bullet design for the Rocket. Or something simiar.

It looks OK on the launchpad... the staging is all set.... hmm. Something seems missing... Ah well. LAUNCH!!

T+00:00:05 LIFTOFF!

T+00:00:07 OH GOD EXPLOSIONS!!!

Struts.... I forgot Struts.....

Struts have been added, Valentina aboard... Ok we are ready!!

T+00:00:00 Liftoff!

T+00:00:05 Seems stable! I think we will be fine!

T+00:00:20 Getting a bit UNSTABLE! (SAS ON)

T+00:00:45 100 M/S! :D

T+00:01:08 5000 meters in the sky!

T+00:01:30 10000 In the sky!

T+00:02:05 Heard something wierd?

T+00:02:17 Stage 2!

T+00:02:27 Oh.... FUEL CARRIES OVER STAGES??? GODDAMMIT! BACK TO THE DRAWIN BOARD! REST IN PEACE VAL!

I don't like Rapier engines anymore....

Maybe a spaceplane? :P Worth a shot!

A bit bouncy, move the landing gear back..

T+00:00:10: AHH IT'S OFF THE RUNWAY!!

Retry again.

Back to the drawing board.

You know what? Make a rocket again..

T+00:00:20 Goin quite fast! :D!

00:00:35: Solid fuel engines out, jettisoning.

00:01:50: Cut off engines.

00:04:19(So close..): Engines on,

00:04:36: Next stage.

00:04:59: ORBIT REACHED! OBJECTIVE COMPLETED!

00:05:20: Hmm, about time to land.. :D

00:33:25: Burn retrograde!

00:38:18: 2nd last stage

00:40:15: Pop the chutes!

00:40:19: Chute open!

00:40:31: TOUCHDOWN! MISSION SUCESS!

I proceeded to plant a flag, and Bill shalt be honored as the first Kerbal to achieve ORBIT!!

Well. I will be working on my 3rd part now.:cool:

I JUST BUILT AN AMAZING ROCKET SO PUMPED :D :D :D

(Oh and BTW I got a sattelite into orbit. Dunno how I did it, but I wanna do it again and I JUST CANT SEEM TO GET ANOTHER ONE!)

I refuse to play without Kerbal Join Reinforcement. Things can break off, but only when under extreme stress. I prefer my rockets to look like actual rockets, not strapped together because KSP can't handle joints. Also need KJR because of the whole KScale 2 bit going on. Needing 4.8Km/s of dV just to make orbit.
