Mun base isn't registering

I have a mission "Build a new surface outpost on the Mun."

So, I've landed a very simple base on the Mun, meeting the criteria for the mission. When I'm "flying" the base, the mission panel checks off:

- Build a new outpose that has an antenna, dockingport, and can generate power.

- Have a facility supporting at least 5 kerbals

- Maintain stability for 10 seconds.

HOWEVER, it doesn't check off:

- Have your outpost near the Mun

And so it won't complete the mission. The base is listed as "landed at the mun" in mission control. I put her down in the East Farside Crater, to gather some novel science.

I am having the exact same issue, I'm wondering if this is do to the game update the other day.

(When you are landed on the Mun you are clearly near it!)

Perhaps there is an elevation that is required or Long. and Lat. point but it says nothing. I even redid the mission thinking it was the sphere of influence transfer issue that has been an issue with other contracts, but that did nothing either. I then tried orbiting at different altitudes to trigger the check but that was not working as well. I've even done it manned and unmanned to check that point as well. I'm at a loss and not finding anyone talking about this issue with a solution on the web.

Hi guys, if these contracts were accepted in 1.0.4, or possibly the first contract accepted in 1.0.5 before the list updated, then the change to 1.0.5 can have broken them, please see here for details.

The only real option for these contracts is to complete them via the debug screen.
