The return trajectory is indeed tricky. I\'ve got my craft on an elliptical orbit from 3 weeks ago ... still waiting to intercept Kerbin. I think the crew are living off microwave popcorn and toothpaste.

How long in actual (not in-game) time has it taken you so far? Before I get started, I want to have an idea of what I\'m getting into.

3 weeks - real time. :-X I royally stuffed up my return burn. I mistimed my prograde burn and I don\'t have enough fuel to correct it.

I left my craft on this elliptical orbit just in case it gets grabbed by Kerbin some day.

If you do it properly, in real time, maximum warp, it only takes 5 minutes to travel from the sun back to Kerbin. Just don\'t mistime the burn. ???

Ok thanks. I am usually pretty accurate with injection burns. This challenge will give me something to do while waiting for 0.16.
