Fine-tuning while placing parts

It used to be that while you were rotating parts during placement, you could hold down Shift and rotate them in smaller increments than 90 degrees. Now, that doesn't seem to be working. It always rotates them at 90 degrees whether you have Shift down or not.

It's a bit confusing because I had to redo all my custom keys (they were reset during the patch), but I think that "fine tuning" button was always Shift.

Weird you're having that. Small-step rotation (5°) still works fine here with the Left Shift key down (not the Right Shift key), and have heard nobody noticed such issue during 1.0.5 testing.

Would be interesting to know what caused your issue, sorry have no better hint to be of help .

Check your key bindings, and possibly consider deleting your settings.cfg file to let the game generate a fresh one.
