Design a Hovercraft Challenge

Design A hovercraft that can maintain a level sub 50 metre flight over Kerbal,using ground facing engines.

Must be able to both hover without momentum and hold steady.

Couldn't you just use SAS stabilization and tilt forward? That's what I use for VTOLs.

Tried SAS,it helps but maintaining directional thrust is very unstable.The Key is to find a balance between forward momentum and vertical stability.

Pretty much what they said above. You could look at CupecakeLander's creations. He (or she? don't know tbh) is quite amazing at making vtols and dropships.

i made one, with one wheesley at the bottom and 6 juno engine for the vtol, it's out of the rules or it's good?

Rules ar e loose,as long as it hovers its good.

The important thing with this challenge is to get people thinking outside the box.

Also this is my first challenge,so i didnt think it through very well
