Flyby contract bug?

Hi all, I'm curious if anyone else is having this problem: I have a contract to take a tourist on a flyby and an orbit of the Mun. The orbit went smooth, and that portion of the contract ticked off perfectly normally. However, the flyby did not. Even when I left Mun orbit brought the ship all the way back home, the flyby showed unfulfilled. Is there some new aspect to flybys in 1.0.5?

Contracts that were accepted in a 1.0.4 save can fail to complete in 1.0.5 as the way contracts are tracked has been changed, there was also a small update to 1.0.5 (your buildID.txt will say you have 1028 if you are on the latest version) which fixed a few career contract issues.

So make sure you're up to date, and you may have to complete this contract via the debug screen (alt+F12), but later contracts will work fine.

Hi sal_vager,
i had the same today with a clean 1.0.5 install.
Flyby by the mun wasn't recocnized on the way back from minmus.
The problem with completing tourist contracts with debug screen is that you don't get the money (because the partial goal aren't completed) - just the final amount of rep.

When the vessel crossed into the Mun's sphere of influence, was it active or inactive? (Were you flying it, or doing something else at the time?)

Hi Arsonide,
the vessel was active. Transfer from Minmus - i think i used "warp here" to PE burned for orbit and burned again for munar escape.
As i wrote before the next atempt worked out fine (from Kerbin parking orbit).
