Am I a wizard?

I'm scared. Today I just got my brand-new Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick and I plugged it in, started KSP and everything worked fine (I used the advanced fly-by wire mod). From what I've heard joysticks in KSP are supposed to be super janky and hard to get working, especially under linux . Is there anything special I did or is this normal behavior in 1.0.5?

Could it have anything to do with the steam controller support squad added a few days ago?

I have the same controller.

Works fine in win 7 but couldn't get it working under Linux.

Problems with controllers come when you have 2 of the same model. I've never had an issue with my flight stick in KSP but I only have one.

Meh. I got a SpaceNavigator last Christmas and it worked fine right off the bat too. Or maybe I'm also a wizard xD

Joysticks work fine for me, last time I checked. Call me Voldemort, I guess.

I also have the same joystick under W10. Works fine. Not necessary but quite pleasant, especially for docking.
