Default flight crew questions

Issue the first: Jeb is dearly departed, I start another flight, and it's Bill who pilots it -- bumping Val who is actually a pilot. Hello discrimination lawsuit! I cancel the flight and put a real pilot in the pilot's seat.

Issue the second: I have a spacecraft with room for four. Jeb takes the pilot seat and everyone else is just playing cards back at the astronaut quarters. Jeb feels lonely on the launch pad, so I try again.

Is there a way to change these behaviours?

I'd like to be able to make a pilot be the first default crew member of a spacecraft -- right now it seems to just take the first Kerbal, regardless of profession. And I'd like for all positions to be filled by default. Obviously I *can* change this pre-flight, it's just error-prone.

(This might fit better in the questions thread, but I can't start a new thread there from a mobile -- I wants me to set a field that I can't set)

It works for me to simply change around the order in the ROSTER section of the persistent.sfs file. The downside is that you might get to read the badS flag (which could be a spoiler). I like to list the Kerbals according to their job and pretend they have different jobs/ranks (Chief Pilot, Head of Experimental Science, Laboratory Assistant, and so on).

It wasn't missing a colon. I accidentally had a double "http://".
