Engine nacelle gone back in time?

Dear forum members,

Is the engine nacelle gone back in time?
I really liked the one from 1.0.4.
I really needed the extension so it would look more realistic.
Please tell me this is not intended to be like this.

well, its only the removal of a small and kinda awkward hardpoint, i assume they wanted radial symmetry, still, i think it could do with some toggleable hardpoint on it, same with the giant bypass engjne too, for variety

The new structural hardpoints work quite like engine pylons.

The Adjustable ramp intake (radial) (formerly the structural intake) can also act as a hardpoint.

But yes this is how the part is now.

Good point. I kinda like the 1.0.4 better by itself*, but I guess the new hardpoints** really do the same job.

*i mean, what else are you even gonna use the part for, its a fueled inline intake without the intake model?

I wish we could reverse the hardpoints so they stayed attached to the wings when staged.

Also with the new Goliath jet engine, Squad should make the 3D model for the hardpoint toggleable.

I like it as it is now. The attachment-model is a tube now, so if you add wings or wheels to it, they attach properly onto it and not in weird angles like before.

You can do this with the reroot tool, but it's fairly tedious.

This is exactly how i would like to see it. that would be perfect!
