HafCoJoe
My fastest boat went at around 128 m/s and could still turn :). Hydrofoils' man
A_name
Before 1.05, I used to make a lot of boats (actually wingless seaplanes) using Firespitter pontoons. Those need a fair amount of strutwork between them even with KJR, so they always sounded like somebody running his thumbnail down the teeth of a plastic comb the whole time they were moving at any speed. Get used to it. It's the sound of nautical achievement ;)
Is this with Collision Effects or stock?
Geschosskopf
Is this with Collision Effects or stock?
That's just normal stock. Any part that's mounted above the nominal waterline but which sometimes skips off the water's surface due to the bouncing/rocking of the boat makes that "plink" sound. If the part stays in the water or never touches it, no "plink". So say you've got some long Firespitter pontoons with some diagonal struts bracing between them just above the waterline. Such a vessel will sound like a windchime on a breezy day :)
