Why Bill is dump :-(

Recommended Posts

You can have more than command one pod on one rocket, or research pods that hold more than one kerbal. Then you can have Jeb or Val take the driver's seat while Bill comes along for the ride. He will get the experience even if he does nothing during the flight. You could also research probe cores with pilot abilities and use those, but they come later in the tech tree than the first passenger pod, Mk1 Crew Cabin.

To train your kerbonauts you take them around the solar system. There was a thread about the most efficient training regiment somewhere. I forget the details, but I am sure planting flags on Mun and Minmus and visiting interplanetary space for a moment was more than enough to get five stars.
Because you decided for some absolutely unknown reason to disable symmetry and then add two absolutely unsymmetrical and unneeded radial parachutes to one side of the capsule.
I needed this i need deploy it between 15 000 and 10 000 meters, and 110 to 220 speed, but experiment failed :( (contract to test radial parachutes)
The chutes on top teared and not decelerated capsule enough. Edited by Pawelk198604

You don't need to go to orbit or extremely high. Build a really small rocket that'll only get you to to that altitude with that speed, cut the engines and deploy the chutes. Keep it cheap because those part tests don't pay that well. And attach the chutes with the symmetry tool or they will try to flip your rocket during ascent.

I want to fulfil science from space mission and chute test mission.
