I can't help with your question, but you post an album like:

Is this an old save?

Jet engines (among other things) were moved around in the tech tree, so you might have unlocked a node that used to have the wheesley in it but now does not.

Check to see if the wheesley also shows up in a later node.

It goes like this:

- You unlock the node with the Wheesley in it.
- The game writes that fact into the persistent.sfs savegame file, listing the node that was unlocked and all the parts that it included.
- You upgrade KSP to a new version. The Wheelsey engine gets moved to a different tech node.
- You load your savegame. The view in the R&D facility is populated with data from your savegame. The savegame says that when that tech node was unlocked, it had the Wheesley engine in it (and that is correct).
- However, you still do not have access to the Wheesley, because you are now playing a different version of the game, and you need a different tech node as a prerequisite for it, which you do not yet have.


Solution: unlock the tech node that [I]now[/I], in the new version, actually does have the Wheesley in it. It should be the one directly after the one with the Juno in it.
