no steam controller mode switching

I have Steam installed on Fedora 23 x86_64, working with the steam controller. In KSP, the new steam controller plugin never seems to switch modes. So even while flying, the controller inputs are using the menu mapping. The right trackpad is the mouse, etc. Steam thinks the game is up to date. I have selected the official bindings from within steam big picture mode.

Sorry oneru but the Steam plugin is not finished, there's not really any support we can offer you at this point, but If you can get it to work then great!

It'd be useful to know exactly what is needed to set it up, assuming it can be, and you can help test it out [U][URL="http://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/projects/ksp/issues"]and put your findings here[/URL][/U], but keep in mind the implementation at the moment is very much a work in progress, so people should expect it to not work at all.

Ah, ok. I understood the announcement to mean that it was finished and should be working. I may poke further at trying to get it working, but I'll also look forward to future updates. Thanks for the info!

Looks like I was incorrect, it is finished but the files it needs may be in the wrong folder.

Try moving the libCSteamworks.so file to GameData/Squad/Plugins/
