What is clampMinAirPressure?

I noticed ModuleParachute has an attribute called clampMinAirPressure which is not listed on the [URL="http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Module#ModuleParachute"]wiki[/URL]. What does it do? By default it seems to have the same value as minAirPressureToOpen. Edited November 20, 2015 by Fwiffo

Also can someone explain why the 1.0.5 stock Mk 16 XL parachute has smaller deployed and semi-deployed drag modifiers than the smaller Mk2-R?

Don't recall offhand what the clamp does.

The drag modifiers are because the visual parachutes are hilariously tiny compared to the drag they "should" be producing. To increase the drag, they either need the canopies remade to sane size, or drag modifiers. The Mk2 radial has the largest drag modifiers because it has the tiniest canopy, far too tiny for the drag it needs to be producing.

Actually wait a sec... could you shed some more light on why you need both drag modifiers AND the fullyDeployedDrag attribute?

because fullyDeployedDrag does nothing. :D
It's for the old drag system, but the chute doesn't use the old drag system.
