account/password got messed up after forum migration

Right, I have no idea if this is the right place to post this (mods, feel free to move if it isn't) but I've run into a bit of a problem after the forum migration: the forum tells me my password is incorrect all the bloody time. Now, usually I'd just reset the password, but the problem is that I created my original account almost 2 years ago and the e-mail I used back then is no longer accessible to me, so I just created a new account to post this.

I know for a fact that there are several other people who had the same problem, any ideas/solutions for this problem or is my account simply lost and do I need to continue on this one? Personally I don't care that much (the only real "problem" is my lost rep, but I don't put that much value on imaginary internet popularity points) but it is a mild annoyance.

Hi Cirocco - please use the "contact us" button below to send me an email. Be sure to mention your username and since you cannot access the associated email address anymore, your birthday as well (just for me to verify it against the forum records).

Heh, you know I don't even care if I get my old account or not anymore at this point, I'm just glad to have made this thread so that Kasper got some well-deserved thanks for his help to the community
