Doubleclick right-mouse camera

Greetings everyone,

 

not sure if this is supposed for general discussion or bug report.

 

The new feature where you doubleclick your right mouse button to always move the camera is bothering me. Before, you would just hold down your right button, then control the camera. But now you can also double click right button and have always control over the camera.

Please don't consider this to be a complain, I just want to know if this feature can be turned off. I don't know why but sometimes when I right click on something (eg: sciencestuff) often enough the mousecontrol switches to the cameracontrol and this is, frankly speaking, highly annoying for it can mess up your every maneuver. At least for me.

Me: But I don't doubleclick  Sometimes the camera is just assuming direct control over my mouse

There's an option in Settings, see here where I moused over it (mousing over it makes it blue)

Settings -> General -> Double Click Mouse Look

As others have said you can disable this option BUT even when it's disabled you can still enter free look by presing \ 

So that's kinda the best of both option; disable it so accidental double r-clicks don't turn it on, but it's still available via keyboard.
