Dissappearing contracts

Has anyone had problems with disappearing contracts post 1.0? I haven't had this problem in a long time, but it showed up again today.

I can't really figure out why, I think its somehow associated with a strange shipchange when in map view, but I cant be sure. Does anyone know how to avoid this?

I have a week old save file... that can recover most of my contracts, but some... that I accepted since then *sigh*... also, I may have to complete some again *sigh*

I remember something like this happening.  IIRC it happened switching to a ship that for some reason didn't have a visible patched conic in the map view with a double (or triple) right click.

This happened when I went from .90 to 1.0. All of my contracts got erased. Luckily... there were some I would have never been able to complete and I got a fresh start. But I only know of this happening during an update. That's the only time I have experienced it.

Is this a save from 1.0.4?  There have been reports of this happening with old saves.

Aha! That is a rather more specific description than I have managed to give, for what sounds very like what I experienced. I don't really recall that there was no visible patched conic when I switched (via double or triple click) in map view and lost my contracts, but it's a distinct possibility since map view was playing up (I do remember finding it impossible to place manouvre nodes at the time).

IIRC the option to click on the vessel and switch to it was not available.

Yes, its a save I started in 1.0. So far none of the updates have messe things up so bad that I couldn't continue working with it
