T1G Gourami V shuttle

Recommended Posts

Greetings from That1guy. Have you ever wanted to have a cheap, reliable, and easy to fly orbiter shuttle? Then I have the solution for you: The Gourami V system!

You may be saying to yourself, how does the Gourami V fly? How do I know it is balanced? What the hell heck does it look like?

To answer these questions, I have this video:

I understand the landing on the tutorial got cut off, this video should clear up how to land/ prove it can land (update: 11200m):

Download and enjoy

It\'s time for a new variation on the Gaouramis! How would yall like to fly a shuttle to the Mun? Well the new Gaourami V (M) class can deliver. It flys the same as the regular GV, but with different hold points.

1. At 5km put the ship 60o above the horizon on a 90o heading (like before)

2. At an AP of 35km put the ship at a 45o above the horizon on a 90o heading (again, like before)

3. At a 75km AP put the ship at a 10o angle until an AP of 100km

at this point, the GV Antlantis is primed for a munar injection, and can achieve a 100km orbit around the mun

the easiest way to return is burn when the ship is facing away from the direction of travel of the Mun, and to enter Kerbin orbit at about 300km. At this point it lands just like the regular GV (11200m PE for 300km)
