So, here\'s my first contribution to the challenges section. Thus, without further ado, I present the...

-HLLV Grand Competition-

The Challenge: Make/post a heavy-lift launch vehicle capable of lifting over 10 metric tons (units listed in VAB) of payload mass into a 300 Km orbit. The .craft isn\'t necessary, but highly reccomended.

The Rules: Plugins allowed: Kosmos, Angara, NovaPunch, MechJeb

Scoring: Extra points will be awarded to those who complete these extra challenges. Completion will earn you 10 points, plus two points for every ton of extra payload that you can successfully lift.

  [li]Full Reusability - Make the launcher totally reusable - 10 Bonus Points[/li]
  [li]Stock Only - Use only vanilla KSP parts - 20 Bonus Points[/li]
  [li]Munar Orbit Capability - Make Munar orbit with it - 10 Bonus Points[/li]
  [li]Munar Landing Capability - Land it on the Mun - 15 Bonus Points[/li]
  [li]Mechjeb Compatable - Make orbit with ONLY ascent autopilot - 10 Bonus Points[/li]
  [li]Green Machine - Don\'t leave any debris in orbit (automatic for SSTOs) - 10 Bonus Points[/li]
  [li]Honourably Mentionned - Get onto the Honourable Mentions list - 20 Bonus Points[/li]

Mass to orbit = 246.4 tons.

Mods used: mechjeb, NovaPunch 1.2 beta.

Staging: it drops some solids on the way up.

MechJeb compatibility: sometimes the rocket starts spiraling out of control on the way up, so you have to disengage then re-engage the ascent autopilot to get it back under control again.

Same ship as above... mass to Munar orbit = 103.4 tons.
