Crash on startup

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 (hey, it was free!) and ever since, I haven't been able to get KSP 1.05.1028 to start. I have the KSP store version, and whenever I click KSP.exe, the window opens, turns white, and freezes. Then, I get a message that KSP "has stopped working." This is on a clean install. Exceptionally bad timing, as I was looking to get back into KSP.

Hmm, you may need to enable/disable compatibility mode in Windows, I am pretty sure it's in the shortcut.

Also you better check your graphics driver, the log says you have a GT 420M but the dxdiag says all you have is an Intel card.

Okay, so first of all: I know nothing about windows 10 or drivers.

Here's a list of problems other people have had that are similar to this:

KSP 1.0.4 does not start win 10. No solution.

KSP video freezes while loading on win 10. Solution: uncheck win 7 compatibility mode.

KSP crashes before it opens. Solution: reinstall drivers.

KSP loads, but crashes when it tries to initialize. No solution.
