I think this idea has already been proposed but I wrote it anyway.
I would like so that we can market within the vessel. I think it will add a big plus in the game. One would be much more fulfilled, realistic etc ...
This should perhaps be hard to do and it should perhaps be time for developement but I think it would be much worth the wait!

Ah, vous voulez dire "walk within the vessel" (marcher (verb)="to walk", marché (noun) = "market") :) )  D'accord, that would be very good! I am doing this for a large ship in my game by building a 'command bridge' inside a cargo bay using some "External Command Seats". I do not know of any way to do this in the existing parts like "Hitchhiker Container" without completely changing the part models. The game engine must then look for collisions between Kerbals en marché within the vessels and the walls, seats, consoles at all times! Very difficult :(

Yes, you're right, it must be difficult :( Maybe the opportunity for those who have big PC? I really really hope that this will come, that this idea will be born!

There was that one simple-ish mod that let the camera move freely in the EVA and also merged all the connected internal spaces by simply making the bottoms where the nodes are invisible. I would like to have that and actual IVA experiments (in the Lab) to be done while roaming. Maybe also subsystems management?
