It's Been 2 Years

Facebook Memories sent me this small reminder that I've been playing KSP for well over 2 years. 

2 years ago on this day, we landed our first mission on the Mun. Blitzor Kerman stepped foot at 10:32pm EST.

We all start from somewhere. You can do it.

I still remember the numerous lander and rocket tests I did for my mun missions. Those were awesome, unnerving, and explosive. Now, I have a whole history of mun missions waaaaay behind me, with gains, losses, and weird stuff happening at the time. Thanks for giving me this wave of nostalgia. We do all start from somewhere.

At least it's not like War Thunder.

This January marks my first solid year of playing KSP. I had the demo back then, struggled to even space. I remember the first time I poked Jeb out of the 'sphere, and just laughing out of delight, how "real-y" the EVA felt. Of course, I never did make orbit until I bought the game and

I made orbit somewhere in 0.21, in a gemini capsule from FASA. That was after I realized that I could just achieve orbit by burning sideways.
