The JAXA H-IIB whine

If you've seen this thing launch, you know what I'm referring to. The H-IIB lets out a beastly whine that sounds like a turbine during the first 30-45 seconds of launch. I've searched all over the net and can't find the answer, but does anyone here know what exactly causes that? The closest I've ever heard in another launcher was a more low pitch roar from the Space Shuttle. Otherwise, no other rocket sounds like this. The engineering geek in me needs to know, because I think it sounds amazing!

If you mean this whine:

, that's caused by the turbopump.

Yea the Japenese rocket screams like a bottle rocket for some reason. I was about to make a thread about this myself. Would could be the purpose of that? Just because it sounds cool?

Lol, I wouldn't put it past the Japanese. I mean,  they DID build a full-size Gundam.
