MJ Rover autopilot

When I put it on auto-heading, it turns in circles.  When I put it on auto-speed, it speeds up way past the speed I want. 

Speed of 0.6 or less goes zero. Speed of .7 or more goes 6m/s or more.

 

Some thread or other says the nav ball should be on the horizon. I've tried mounting the drone core and MJ vertically, horizontally, control from here. Nothing helps.

ANybody got an idea?
