Mechjeb2 will not work with my KSP 1.0.5

Hi there! I used to play KSP a lot before the big updates (Last Fall really) and so I had mechjeb before the updates and so I realized I needed to update mechjeb as well. Long story short, I have dropped the most recent downloadable version of Mechjeb2 from Curse's website, and extracted it to the "GameData" folder inside of KSP when I "Browse local files" in steam. The very first message that pops up for me is " 'Mechjeb2' is not supported in 1.0.5" even though it clearly states otherwise on the mod website. I even uninstalled every aspect of the mod and the game, reinstalled the game, then reinstalled the mod and nothing yet. I looked all over and I couldn't find any help so I need to ask here. Thanks for any help!

Hi thegoldenfrog,

does MJ really not work in your game or is it just the message at startup? In doubt, just click the "close" button and try it anyway, maybe there's only a wrong version file in your download and your MJ will work fine.

Unless there is some button I need to press to have the mechjeb interface come up, I'll feel really dumb haha. But all of the parts for mechjeb load correctly, just not the interface.

Are you running KSP from the Program Files Directory as this will cause issues if you are, if this is the case you need to move it out of there and make a Games directory on your C: drive and run it from there

The message is not here for show. If you have it then you downloaded the wrong version or have multiple version installed. But I can't help since you did not specify the version you installed or provided a log.
