Can someone tell me why this craft doesn't load properly?

I have a craft saved. It loads but the craft title doesn't update and the parts all act as though they're not attached to a root part and they can't be selected. The root part should be the docking port.

Game version: most up-to-date provided by Steam.

I just tried that craft file and got the same results as you described (so at least you know it's nothing to do with your setup). but I can't offer any suggestions as to what's wrong or how to fix it.  
At a quick glance at the first couple parts in the file they look ok, and they reference the parts they should be connected to so problem must be further down and tbh I think it would take less time to re-make it than it would be pick through the craft file! Sorry I can't help with this!
