New Vidcard Hosed Forum Appearance

So my old Nvidia GTX 590 blew up and I replaced it with a GTX 980.  And while games run great, most web pages now look totally hosed up, including the KSP forum.  For example, here's what the main menu of this forum looks like:

And here's what I saw when I went to create this very post:

So........  anybody got any ideas on how to set my settings to get this forum (and most other web pages) looking normal again?  Thanks.

That's even worse than before!  Are you sure you connected it right?  I know sometimes they can be a pain.

Also, make sure you have the right drivers installed.

Yup, installed correctly, new drivers, and all my high-detail FPS games including Fallout 4 (which I just got to test the new card) absolutely rock with all graphics settings maxed out.  But KSP had absolutely pathetic framerate until I created a special set-up just for it, different from the general settings used by everything else.

And through it all, browser pages in IE have looked like absolute crap.  But they look perfectly fine if I use Chrome instead.  But I loathe and detest Chrome and only use it occasionally for specific websites that aren't IE-friendly.  And it's not just IE that doesn't like my new vidcard, it's Windows LIve Mail (I much prefer offline mail readers to web mail).  So it's starting to look like this is an MS/Win7 thing.  Still, there should be a way to make this vidcard work with my preferred MS stuff.

You could try firefox, or uninstalling and reinstalling IE.

Looks like someone have been messing with your Internet Explorer :)

Go to "Internet Options" on IE, it should open a pop-up window... In the "General" tab, down below should have a "Accessibility" button, click on it..

By default, none of the checkboxes should be marked, but that specific problem you're having is caused by the "Ignore colors specified on webpages" option being turned on.

Well, thanks for the suggestion, but that wasn't / isn't the problem.  Nothing at all on the Accessibility tab is checked and still this forum looks as my pics above with using IE (although it looks fine in Chrome)

Strange... try to check other accessibility options on Windows as well...

The reason I am insisting on this is because as soon as I check the "Ignore colors specified on webpages" on IE, like I mentioned, the KSP forums looks exactly as your screenshot for me... Same color scheme, same fonts, same layout..

Hmm, I don't see such an option in Win 7 itself.  Accessibility from the control panel just goes for various handicapped things.  Where do I find the "ignore colors" thing outside of IE/

Hmm perhaps if you attempt to reset IE...

Change or reset Internet Explorer settings

1 Close all Internet Explorer windows that are currently open.

2 Open the desktop, and then tap or click the Internet Explorer icon on the taskbar. Changing your settings will affect both Internet Explorer and Internet Explorer for the desktop.
3 Tap or click the Tools button Tools, and then tap or click Internet options.

4 Tap or Click the Advanced tab, and then tap or click Reset.

5 In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, tap or click Reset.

6 When Internet Explorer finishes applying default settings, tap or click Close, and then tap or click OK. You'll need to restart your PC for these changes to take effect.
