The most frequently used words on KSP reddit

A user called 'Iamsodarncool' on /r/KerbalSpaceProgram posted the following image:

Yeah, it's Reddit not us, but I believe the local one wouldn't be much different. Too bad I have no clue how to extract such data from this forum, otherwise I would have made a similar graphic out of it.

They must have put a bit more thought into that, rather than just pointing a tool at the site.  This tool is pretty good - http://www.infocaptor.com/bubble-my-page, it will read a web page and create a bubble chart of the most frequently used words, but the problem is that if you just point it at something like this forum it sees the most common words as the words on buttons, and it also doesn't follow links on the page.  So you'd need to modify it to ignore the forums framework and just focus on content and make it follow links.

If you used another method of fetching the raw content then you could just dump that text into this tool which does a quite nice world cloud based from a block of text. https://www.jasondavies.com/wordcloud/
(both tools built using the awesome D3.data javascript graphical library).

That's exactly what they did. But that tool is written for subreddits, and I can't just point it to a random forum software expecting it to follow links.
