Jeb is dead.

I killed Jeb. I feel horrible. he was so obedient. He did everything I asked of him, even when he knew it would end in certain disaster.  But even all his badassery couldn't save him from my wraith.

 

Anyway, I was reading around and I saw that you could buy him back? (or maybe one of his clones?) Is that true? If so, where would I be able to find him?

You can't really buy him back. But you can go into the save file and change his status from "dead" (or the equivalent) to "alive" (same). You could also open up the debug menu and fiddle around there.

Or you could sit in the corner and cry. Then send his ashes into space.

I think that the orange suits come back after a couple of real life hours. May just be a rumor, though.

Actually, I forgot something. If you checked "Missing Crews Respawn" when you started your game, he (and any other Kerbals you murder ) will come back, just like The Optimist said.
