Valentina has no face

I have EVE, KAS, and infernal Robotics installed. Tried checking game cache via steam. 1 file always fails to validate and needs to be recovered (even post reinstall). Tried reinstalling EVE, which is where I believe the problem lies. Changing Valentina's face with texture replacer does nothing. Any ideas?

I would pull all the mods out and start systematically.

First a unmodded game. IF the face comes back, then add mods one at a time until you find the culprit.
If this doesn't work, you may have to download a fresh copy from SQUAD.
