Background in VAB is Black

Hey,

So I started playing KSP a couple of weeks a go, and it has been great, but there is one annoying bug: the background in the VAB is black.

It isn't a major issues, but does anyone know how to fix this (I have attached an image)?

I bought the game on steam, and I am running the 64-bit linux version on Ubuntu 15.10.

This is a graphics driver issue with the PPFX edge highlighter, some graphics cards just cannot use it.

Disabling PPFX will prevent this.
