Kerbal on Hatch KIA when Vessel Recovered

Recommended Posts

Basically what it says in the title- I had a Kerbal clinging to a hatch, [ to the vessel, recovered the vessel, and the Kerbal is now KIA. Not worth the Grassslands surface sample that's for sure. I'm scared to edit this- can you resurrect Kerbals via the cheat menu?

It needs more than that I believe- the last couple of line items will keep him dead I'm pretty sure (I had a different issue previously, basically 2 clawed pods getting torn apart during reentry) This is a tough one to do, because when I tried hacking a Kerbal back to life I completely borked my roster, as in wiped it all out except the one I was saving. I will play with it later when I get time. I am also looking for a confirmation, if someone can reproduce it I will file a report.
