Planes/Jets Science Tree

Is there a modded Science Tree which let me begin the game with simple planes or jets ?

Its always a bit strange for me to unlock the good ramjet engines in the end of the career, when I dont need them anymore.

Probably there is, but I never looked into the alternative tech-trees, as the only feature I wanted is the one you just described. And that's easily achieved by giving yourself enough starting science to unlock the required parts in the middle. If you want the ramjets instantly at the start, you'll need additional funds for the Sci-Center upgrade too.

Yep I did exactly this, just edited the game, so I can unlock the Parts earlier, its not a big thing in balancing terms.

also check out Engineering Tech Tree. @Probus has been very responsive on updating it with requests. I just posted there my recommendations for Aircraft part nodes. You are welcome to do the same, or even submit pull requests.
