Emotionally invested - most draining happy sad moment?

My happiest moment was going to space.  A friend lent me his copy of KSP 0.15, and I would just launch suborbital rocket after rocket, just to be amazed at the face that I was in space.  I didn't care I couldn't orbit or go to the Moon.  I was just etastic and leaving the atmosphere

Now I can't even be bothered to orbit.

My happiest was when I finally managed to make an encounter with a planet -- Duna.

I literally screamed "YES!!".

I don't think there is anything at all in KSP that can replicate such a feeling, for me at least.

Greetings All,

I can still remember my first Kerbin orbit.  3 days of failure followed by the most amazing sense of achievement I've ever felt playing a game.

Worst moment was accidentally clicking space centre instead of reverting after turning Jeb, Bill and Bob into paste on the Duna surface.

Cheers,

James

What really makes me sad is the fact that I've never had such a strong emotional reaction to ANYTHING in KSP.

Happiest: Successful landing on Mun, 0.18.3.

Saddest: Unsuccessful landing on Mun, no quicksave, 0.18.3.
