hi / bonjour , (français plus bas ) i come here cuz i have a little prob when i use a parachute when i'am coming back on kerbin. it should drop my speed in m/s but it doesn't, i mean i crash my pod each time on ground around 120 130 m/s. everything work i can see it open at 500m but my speed continue to raise any know what is going wrong ?  thx you all for your time  -Marc ps: maybe i have to uninstall it on steam and download it again ? 

voilà mon problème , mon parachute ne me ralentit pas. Je veux dire il ouvre , complètement déployé je peut même entendre le son qu'il fait en ouvrant. le fait est que ma vitesse ne réduit pas elle augmente quand même du coup je me prend le sol a des vitesse folle.  quelqu'un c'est pourquoi ?   merci pour votre temps - Marc ps : peut-être je dois tout désinstaller de steam et tout recommencer ?

Hi SalVager many thx for your answer  once it's done i got 3 files who can't be validated then it mean it will be restored i hope it will work properly now  i'll try it , brb   -Marc
