Do I Have a Memory leak (Mac)?

After running for an extended period of time the game will freeze and I get the spinning beach ball of doom.  It seems to be only related to the time spent playing.

Do you have a memory leak? Yes! And I didn't even take a look at your log file.
KSP has several memory issues. Leaks are just one of them.

This is a substantially modded game with "[WRN 20:30:56.284] [Flight Persistence]: Too many vessels in scene - skipping save for Tria Crew Launcher Debris". So, it seems like there are many objects in physics range? It also looks like there were a series of switches made between objects? Also maybe a few scene changes? Yeah, you are asking KSP and Unity to do more than they were designed to do it seems. Kinda like asking a Ford Pinto to run 85 mph in reverse up Mount Everest. It's gonna get hot and explode at some point barring some sort of divine intervention.

So this was a switch between a KAS assembled rover and the Kerbal. There weren't any scene changes and that particular piece of debris was in a 200 km orbit. What the h***?

KAS is better than it used to be, but still not perfect. KSP and Unity are better than they used to be, but still not perfect. I think the Ford Pinto analogy is still valid. You're asking alot from a 32 bit process.

I was having frequent crashes in KSP (I mean the app, not the spacecraft) when I tried the 64 bit modification described here in this thread.  For me, it's been an incredible improvement and may be a solution for your difficulties.  Good luck!
