HotRockets Compatibility

Hi all! I installed KW Rocketry to ksp and I like it but after I installed HotRockets! Particle FX Replacement mod there are no flames/sound coming from my rocket. But the ship is flying fine just no fire nor sound. I'd really like help please. KSP Version 1.0.5

KW Rocketry is outdated without the community fix. Did you install it? From a quick reading, it seems KW rocketry uses an outdated engine smoke module, I'd bet the problem would come from that.

Yup I installed the fix but hotrockets still bugged, but it is fine without the hotrockets vice versa. I just want the effects of hotrockets and the rockets of kw rocketry

I'm not sure about this ( It's been a while ) but I think you need to modify the .cfg files of your KW engines to fit the module animated emissive of Hotrockets. I'm not sure which is which, but browse in your hotrockets folder and you'll find it easily.

Well,you need the community fix,this is the latest (working)DL i can find.I recommend to delete everything that you don't need(especially launch_hotrockets.cfg),and don't use SmokeScreen or Module Manager from the download,update them to the latest version!!

Delete the KW Hotrockets patch in the MP_Nazari folder. The configs are likely outdated.
